Hello, I'm Joemarlin!
I'm passionate about the intersections of linguistics proper and English language education. I received my B.A. in English (Linguistics) from San Francisco State University, where I also received my M.A. in TESOL. I'm in this field to build multi-cultural bridges through language learning. My current research draws from domains of semantic theory and SLA-oriented principles of pedagogical practice involving vocabulary acquisition. In my spare time, I enjoy being crafty in the kitchen, playing the piano, and learning about different cultures in this world.
